Good days staying? 01-07 of may

Good Balance : one pub, some sport, some tourism, and a lot of sun, it
will hopefully go on this way !

Providence, RI

I have been on Tuesday, playing darts with Steffen, around a pitcher of beer. The less beer remained in the pitcher, the worse we were... We played at the Corner Pub (this pub may actually have a proper name, but for us, it's just "the Corner Pub"). You can play Darts, and American Pool for free, you just have to inscribe your name on a sheet of paper, to be queued in the line. They also have the worse beer ever (Pabst Blue Ribbon) for a reasonable price, which is always better than the second worse beer ever (Bud) for a mind-boggling amount of money... Anyway, this place feels like America and you get to know a lot of different peoples there.

On Wednesday, I had diner with Jessica, her room-mate and Steffen. We ate pasta with a curious but delicious sauce and a salad... We actually added everything we could in the salad, until there was no much salad in the bowl. I helped the Baja team the other evenings, until friday.

Friday, when I played Squash for the first time ! Actually, with the B.U. card, we have to pay 1$ to play as much as we want ! This sport is so great I cannot describe it, Try it !
I have been disturbed during my relaxing and sleeping Saturday, by Susanna, willing to organize a BBQ to say goodbye to Elvira. It is with great pleasure that I helped her to prepare what happened to be a very good BBQ, with some of Elvira's friends, and some colleagues.

Ocean's Drive, Newport, RINewport, RI

On sunday, I have been in Newport RI, with Jonathan (Jo) and Andrea. This a great place for sailing (America's Cup). There is a huge port, with a lot of sail boats. We also saw many of the huge house there, some are really nice. The Ocean Drive is a beautifulroad, next to the ocean, as it is supposed to be.
On the way back, we stopped at Providence. It is not a huge city, but it has some buildings. It is not as 'clean' as Boston, and so, in a certain way, it seems to be more like a real city (because Boston is an exception).
